Coaching Services

What Is Coaching?

Many clients come to me after they have tried everything they know to try. They have read the books, sought advice, changed their approach, and sometimes spent years trying to turn things around. The same problems are still there.

Some come with a marriage close to divorce. Others face a career decision, a leadership problem, or responsibilities they can no longer manage the same way. I have had clients come to me ready for divorce who turned their marriages around.

Coaching starts with an honest look at where you are, where you want to go, what has failed, and what may be getting missed. I bring direct questions, outside perspective, and strategy. I guide you through the decision-making process, work with you to build a plan, and adjust that plan with you as you put it into practice. You remain in charge of your decisions.

Individual Coaching

Individual coaching can focus on your marriage, your own goals, or both.

Many wives begin coaching because their husband will not attend. Husbands can begin on their own, too. We can work on what is happening in your marriage, examine the approaches that have failed, consider what may be happening with your husband or wife, and build a strategy around what you can control. You do not have to wait for your spouse to participate.

Your goals may have nothing to do with marriage. I also coach neurodiverse and neurotypical adults through career decisions, leadership challenges, executive-function difficulties, major transitions, and goals they have struggled to reach.

You decide what we focus on and how often we meet. If your husband or wife wants to join later, we can move into couples coaching.

Marriage & Couples Coaching

Some couples come to me when their marriage is headed toward disaster. Others come because they want to make a good marriage better.

I have worked with husbands and wives who were ready for divorce and went on to turn their marriages around. I cannot promise that outcome. I can bring an outside perspective, ask direct questions, and work with you to identify what needs to change.

We look at the conversations that keep breaking down, responsibilities that go unmet, differences in how you communicate and process information, and expectations you may never have clearly discussed. Then we build agreements and strategies you can put to work in your marriage.

I remain neutral. I will challenge both of you when needed, without assuming you carry equal responsibility for every problem. You choose whether to attend together, individually, or through a combination of sessions.

I coach neurodiverse and neurotypical couples. Boyfriends, girlfriends, and fiancés can also work with me before marriage.

Career & Professional Coaching

A decision about your work can affect your income, your family, and what comes next. It deserves serious attention.

I bring more than 20 years of leadership and executive experience to career decisions, leadership challenges, workplace communication, competing priorities, and professional transitions.

We can examine the options in front of you, the problem you need to address, and how to put your experience to better use. For neurodivergent professionals, that may include building ways to manage work that fit how you think and operate. Neurotypical professionals work with me, too. You make the final decisions about your career.

Resume and LinkedIn services are also available when your next move requires a stronger presentation of your experience.

Biblically Based Christian Coaching

If your faith is central to your life, it should be central to your coaching.

When you choose Christian coaching, we bring Scripture, prayer, and biblical principles into the decisions and challenges in front of you. That can include your marriage, responsibilities, career, leadership, or a major life change.

I take the Bible seriously. I will not use it to excuse harmful behavior, demand one-sided change, or tell someone to pray while avoiding the work they need to do.

Christian coaching can be part of individual or couples coaching. You do not have to be a Christian to work with me.

Scheduled Coaching by Text

You do not have to get on a phone or video call to work with me.

If you communicate better in writing, you can book a scheduled coaching session conducted entirely by text. New clients can choose this format from the start.

A text session is dedicated coaching time. Bring the situation or decision you want to work through, and we will use that time to examine it and build your next steps.

Between-Session Text Support

The situation does not always wait until your next appointment.

Monthly text support gives established clients access between scheduled sessions. You can use it to prepare for a conversation, work through a new development, stay accountable to a plan, or consider how to respond when something changes.

Three levels of access are available. Monthly support is separate from scheduled sessions, including sessions conducted by text.

Coaching Intensives

Some situations need more than a standard session.

I offer customized intensives for individuals, husbands and wives, and groups. We set aside focused time to examine what is happening, address the issues that matter most, and build a strategy you can put into practice.

Intensives can take place online or in person. In-person intensives are often held off-site at a resort or another location where we can step away from daily distractions and focus on the work.

An intensive might focus on a marriage, a major decision, a professional challenge, or a topic specific to a church, organization, or team. We will discuss your goals, who will attend, the format, location, and time needed before I put together a proposal.

Group Coaching & Workshops

I offer workshops for churches and organizations that want their people to leave with something they can use.

Topics include neurodiverse marriages, communication, leadership, and practical strategies for daily life. Tell me who the workshop is for and what you want to address. We will build the session around that group.
